Saturday, June 22 — most of the top 20 cryptocurrencies are reporting moderate gains on the day by press time, as bitcoin (BTC) passed the $11,100 mark.

Bitcoin is currently up over 13% on the day, trading around $11,154 at press time, according to Coin360. Looking at its weekly chart, the coin is up over 22%.

As Cointelegraph reported earlier today, bitcoin crossed $11,000 in under 24 hours after crossing $10,000.
Ether (ETH) is holding onto its position as the largest altcoin by market cap, which currently stands at just under $33.3 billion. The second-largest altcoin, Ripple’s XRP, has a market cap of $19.6 billion at press time.
Coin360 data shows that ETH has seen its value increase by over 9% over the last 24 hours. At press time, ETH is trading around $314, after hitting a 10 months high. On the week, the coin has also gained over 16.2% in value.

Yesterday news broke that Grayscale’s Ethereum-based security, Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETHE), is now available for trading on OTC Markets.
XRP is down by about three quarters of a percent over the last 24 hours and is currently trading at around $0.468. On the week, the coin is up about 13.8%.

Among the top 20 cryptocurrencies, the one reporting the most notable gains is NEO, which is up over 34%.
At press time, the total market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies is $331.5 billion, over 18% higher than the value it reported a week ago.
Alongside Bitcoin’s recent gains, the coin’s hash rate hit a record high yesterday, as Cointelegraph reported.
